What is IFDAT?

The International Forum for Drug and Alcohol Testing (IFDAT) is a non-profit organisation, registered as a 501c(3) non-profit organization in the United States of America (USA).

We are dedicated to the advancement of global employee drug and alcohol testing systems and processes. In keeping with the international platform, the appointed Board Members and representatives of IFDAT cover a global reach.

What is an IFDAT conference?

The “Annual” IFDAT Conference provides a platform for experts from a wide variety of disciplines associated with the drug and alcohol industries to meet and discuss a range of topics focused on current and future developments relevant to employee testing globally.

At these conferences employers, industry providers and other interested parties discuss best practices, new developments, updates in policies and technology, efficiency improvements and other topics relevant to enhancing employee drug and alcohol testing.

During the day why not spend some time in and around the beautiful and historic city of Dublin with its many attractions (for ideas see https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Products-g186605-a_contentId.29997340210+677494269-Dublin_County_Dublin.html).  Both the National Gallery of Ireland and Dublin Castle are within easy walking distance. Or why not do the famous “Guiness Tour”?

Registration will be open from 18.00hrs. From 18.30-20.00 we are holding a welcome drinks reception and get together at the venue to allow our amazing sponsors who are getting their stands ready, to also participate.

Arrive nice and early. Get registered, pick up your IFDAT bag, help yourself to morning refreshments and take a look around the Sponsor area. Our keynote speaker will kick off the conference followed by a number of sessions throughout the day (see program for details).  In the evening, there is an opportunity for you to join us for the IFDAT Social Celebration and Networking Dinner (additional cost applies). Venue TBC. We guarantee it will not disappoint – and if you’ve been to one previously you will know what a great evening it is! The evening event is the perfect environment to make new friends and continue networking within an informal and enjoyable setting. The final day of the conference starts nice and early and is packed full of more interesting and informative sessions, covering a range of topics and industries (see program for further details). The conference closes with an address by the IFDAT Chairperson followed by a “Farewell Drinks” send off. The Farewell event is one of the most appreciated and is a final opportunity to catch up with old/new friends, discuss the event and say farewell until the next IFDAT conference!
