Mr. Current is the former Executive Director of the American Council for Drug Education and was the first Director of the Institute for a Drug-Free Workplace. He served as Vice President of Consulting for a national third-party administrator of drug testing and background screening services. He founded WFC & Associates in 1999. He is the author or co-author of 10 books on substance abuse issues, including Why Drug Testing? He also edits and publishes The On-Line Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws.

Well versed in policy, procedure and compliance, Bon is frequently asked to share his expertise at conferences, in educational settings, with industry publications and through various media outlets. Bon also sits on the Board of Directors for the Substance Abuse Program Administrator’s Association. Dr. Douglas W Martin has been the Chair of the Medical Review Officer Section of the American College of Occupational & Environemental Medicine for 10 years. In that capacity he has authored ACOEM position statements on drug and alcohol testing and has written comments for federal regulatory proposed changes. Although he is involved frequently with federal workplace drug testing issues, his main interest lies in the non-federal drug testing arena and more recently has been an advocate for an expanded testing panel to deal with the burgeoning problem in the United States with misuse and abuse of presciption medication and its impact on workplace and public safety.

She is responsible for managing drug and alcohol testing programs governed by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and corporate policies. In the past 18 years while managing these programs, she has gained an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the drug and alcohol testing programs and played a key role in the design and changes to the company’s policy over the years. She is a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas, Certified Occupational Health Nurse, Certified Employee Assistance Professional, Certified Substance Abuse Program Administrator, and Certified Case Manager.

Michael Wheeldon served as a member of the Victoria Police for 20 years before entering the private sector as an investigator incorporating risk management. This in turn led to the formation of Integrity Sampling and it becoming a forerunner in the field of workplace oral fluid drug testing throughout Australia.

Prior to joining GBO Mrs. Neuhofer spent 20 years in some of the more notable hospitals in Austria for microbiology and molecular biology testing where she adopted research protocols for routine diagnostic. In 2008 she received her MBA in Social Economics from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz.

Patrice Kelly

Ms. Kelly has been involved with regulated drug and alcohol testing since 1992. She is the Deputy Director of the United States’ Department of Transportation’s Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance (ODAPC). ODAPC’s mission is to enhance public safety within transportation industries across the United States by ensuring that DOT’s drug and alcohol policies are implemented in a consistent, fair and efficient manner. Ms. Kelly has been with ODAPC since October, 2007. Prior to that, she served as the Deputy Division Manager of the Drug Abatement Division, Office of Aerospace Medicine, at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Ms. Kelly was the first FAA attorney to revoke an air carrier’s certificate for failure to implement drug and alcohol testing, and she initiated the FAA’s first civil penalty cases enforcing the drug and alcohol testing regulations. Ms. Kelly has also served as the Senior Attorney for Aerospace Medical Issues in the Regulations Division of the FAA Chief Counsel’s Office. She has worked extensively on all changes to the FAA’s and ODAPC’s drug and alcohol regulations since 1996.

A graduate of Boston College, and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, Ms. Kelly received a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She is admitted to the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania Bars. Ms. Kelly worked for the Supreme Court of the United States, and later for law firms in Washington, DC, representing transportation entities and associations, before beginning her career with the FAA.

Mr. Labatut currently serves as a member of the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) Board of Directors. Besides he is Chairman of the International Committee of DATIA. He also served as Vice President of consulting companies and Manager for foreign investments and insurance instruments in Citibank, Santander Bank, among others.

Sue Nolan

Sue Nolan has been a forensic scientist and regular expert witness for 35+ years specializing in illicit drugs and toxicology. She established her own consultancy company, DrugFree Sites, in November 2007 but prior to that was employed by the Institute of Environmental Science and Research Ltd (ESR) and the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR). Since 1992 Sue has advised over 1500 New Zealand companies on developing and implementing Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policies and Programmes and has published and presented regularly.

As a member, since 1995, of the joint Australian/New Zealand Standards Technical Committee CH-036, Sue has been collectively responsible for preparing the Standard AS/NZS 4308 including the 2008 version “Procedure for specimen collection and the detection and quantitation of drugs of abuse in urine.” She was instrumental in establishing New Zealand's first AS/NZS 4308 accredited laboratory for workplace drug testing, ESR, in 2003.
