Drugtest Scandinavia
Drugtest Scandinavia is a Scandinavian company with a European perspective. Founded by two occupational health physicians and one laboratory and collection expert in 2006, and based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Our expertise lies in providing drug testing programmes for companies in Europe and collection services for American companies based in Europe. We use the latest technology for testing and administration and we offer the full range of services necessary for testing programmes.
All the founders have long experiences from workplace drug testing in Europe, USA and South America.
Per Björklöv
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Per Björklöv, is CEO of Drugtest Scandinavia and a former president of the European Workplace Drug Testing Society (EWDTS). His vision for a better global drug testing industry and society has led him to acheive incredible things in many regions of the world. It is that same passion that lead to his creation of the International Forum for Drug and Alcohol Testing.
Born in Uppsala, Sweden, Mr. Björklöv studied at the University of Stockholm (teaching, information and marketing) and the University of Uppsala biology and geography). In 1991 he started at the Department of Pharmacology at Huddinge University Hospital with the project of "workplace drugtesting". Since 1995 he has also been the marketing and information manager for LabMedicin, which is a laboratory organization in Stockholm which performs about 8 million analyses per year and has about 800 employees. Mr. Björklöv was the initiator of the first European Symposium on Drugtesting and the European Workplace Drug Testing Society.
Compliance Information Systems
Playing a minor organizing role, Compliance Information Systems (CIS), has been a great help with the IFDAT website and conference materials and by offering support to Drugtest Scandinavia in their many efforts.
CIS is the USA's leading provider of software and information services for managing workplace drug and alcohol programs. They are located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
